The "No. 280"
Beautiful Wadsworth GF Case
3 Fingered Bridge Adjusted
Hi Grade Railroad Approved
JUST FULLY SERVICED & MS
| Circa 1903, here's an early, seldom seen #280 railroad grade/approved watch! This one is comparable in quality to the venerable Veritas, having a hi grade regulator, screw down jewel settings, fully adjusted to railroad positions, and gorgeous damaskeening. Quite desirable! This unique model was produced in 1902-1903 only, and fewer than 8000 were made! |
Also features the beautiful 17 Jewel 3 FB Model Movement marked No. 280. These have all but disappeared from the market, this is the only one I've seen in quite awhile. Also marked "Adjusted" (5 Positions). Lever Set, RR Grade/Approved.
It runs very well, has just had a full service, including pivots polished and a new mainspring installed, timed, and is ready to carry and enjoy. Another Elgin Railroad you rarely see that's Extra Nice thruout!

"B.W. Raymond" Railroad
"Gold Flashed" Movement
Near Mint Dial
#3056 GGF Diamond Bar Case
Scarce WW2 21 Jewel BWR
| Circa 1942, lever set, this beautiful RR Grade/Approved BW Raymond features the WW2 Issue 21 Jewel 3/4 plate Model Movement done in gold flashing! |
Only 2000 of these beauties were made in 1942 only!
Also marked "adjusted 5 positions" and "temperature", approved by all rail lines...Elgin's best selling railroad watch! Also features an original porcelain Dial in near mint condition, couple lite hl that cannot be seen save with a loupe, and a beautiful and quite scarce Elgin #3056 Green Gold Filled "Diamond Bar" Case signed "cased and timed by Elgin" on inside back! Case shows very little wear, couple lite marks on back but still looks great as you can see. These #3056 Cases in this good of condition and in green gf are almost impossible to find nowdays. These were carried by railroad professionals who demanded accurate timekeeping. Good Running order. Movement shows beautifully...nice thruout! Folks, this movement is one of the hardest to acquire in the Elgin line, and seldom appear. Very nice package here!
I've priced this one to sell quickly...first come first served!
Look it over carefully, and I'm sure you'll agree it's a fine one, and a steal at this price.
