Case... on this watch is a Hamilton Model #A Case, also referred to as the "pimple" case. It is in excellent condition. Shows very little wear, as evidenced by the pictures. Sand marks still visible on back. Really shows off this 992B well! Nice Original YGF Model #A Case! Dial... is an original correct melamine double sunk boxcar type dial signed Hamilton Railway Special. Bold numerals. No crazing, dial is perfect. | Circa 1916, here's a RR Grade/Approved BW Raymond! It features the 19 Jewel 3/4 plate Model Movement. This is as nice an example as I've ever had! This one has the later marked movement. Also marked "adjusted 5 positions" and safety barrel, approved by all rail lines...Also features an original porcelain DS Arabic RR dial signed Elgin in mint condition...and a gorgeous hinged Philadelphia 20 Yr YGF Railroad Case with a fancy bezel and back in excellent condition. Just a beauty. This has one of the finer condition movements I've seen on one of these These were carried by railroad professionals who demanded accurate timekeeping. It runs well. | Circa 1926, lever set, here's a vintage Illinois 706 in beautiful condition thruout! Has a scarce "straight line" Illinois double sunk original "arrows in" dial with one lite hl by lever, matching plum Illinois hands, a beautiful Crescent Watch Case Co. Plain Polished Gold Filled 25 Year Swing Out Case, and a really nice strong running movement with solid gold train gears marked "706" and "adjusted 4 positions." Nice crystal. Movement is excellent, no scratches, beautiful wheels with gold screws as you can see, perfect triple matching "plum" Illinois hands. These were made for Electric Railway conductors and operators. And it's also in good running order, has not been serviced or timed by us. For well under $250 you're getting an all original Illinois to carry or give as a unique gift he'll love! Adjusted to four positions with a gold train! The case and dial on this watch is worth in excess of $250 alone. I would rather it be passed down thru the generations like it was meant to be. Case... on this watch is a Hamilton signed Stainless Steel Model #15 Case. It is in excellent condition, sand marks still showing on back. Glass domed Crystal. These were preferred by many post WW2 railroad men, as they were extremely durable, and show little if any wear. This one has seen little use and still looks new. | Circa 1909, LS, adjusted to temperature, six positions, and isochronism, marked 23 Ruby Jewels, gold train, RR Grade/Approved, this is the 23 Jewel Illinois "Sangamo" RR Watch fitted with a clean, mint Gothic Getty Dial. It also features a beautiful yellow gold filled Case, and a movement like new....Nice Hi Grade 23J Sangamo! Case... is a Dueber Swing Out 25 Yr Case with a plain back engraved with The Masonic Tools Emblem. In excellent condition, no wear showing, shows really well. Nice Glass Crystal. Dial... is original...a double sunk Illinois Gothic type dial. This is an original dial, not a reproduction!. No imperfections noted. These are getting really hard to find...especially a nice one like this example! Beautiful, clean Illinois "Gothic" dial. Movement... is Illinois' famous 23 Jewel Sangamo with the "Bright Spotted" or fishscale pattern. This movement features the beautiful gold lettering and is fully marked "Temperature 6 Positions Isochronism" as these later ones were. The movement is in like new condition, all lettering and damaskeening still standing out like new! Running well, I timed this for 24 hrs and it doesn't need a thing. Only 2,615 of these 23 Jewel Versions with Gold Lettering were made. | ||

Tight Bow. Marked Hamilton Railroad Model on inside back. Shows very well. This Hamilton model 3 is one of the more desirable and hardest to find cases.
