I found your site very informative, and I am tempted to send my pocket watch to you to be appraised. It is a Hampton Watch Co watch, and inside it is stamped the number 6006554, and on the inside back where the gears are found is engraved Gen,l Stark. The only General Stark I know is the Revolutionary war hero of Bennington. This has been in my family for at least 3 generations, and am very nervous to send it out of my sight, because of the Sentimental value. I am in fact more interested in the history for future generations than to sell it. Thanks for this opportunity to contact you.

I'm glad to have found your site.
I've got an old 17J Elgin RR watch passed down to me through 3 generations. It works, and I carry it about 3 days a week. I've had a hard time finding anyone locally who is capable of telling me anything about my watch. We've really lost a lot of history about the watch with every pass through another generation. I'm not so much interested in the value as the history, so I can tell my kids a bit more about it when I make the next pass.

Just purchased a Hampton Watch Co. pocketwatch, and trying to find some information about it. Case has TradeMark w/ moon and star symbol, and under it is 292204 (slightly offset and overlapping is 92203, which looks like a misstamp). The movement lists 17 jewels and the number 1989191, and is signed by W. M. Kerley (sp?). Face has script numbers with spiral 2, 5, 7 and 9 digits, and has a second sub-dial at the 6.

14K case, it looked in excellent condition for
$5,000.
I also saw several poc.Watches made for the
Milan Exposition (? 1898 ?) for prices from
$400 to 2500.
What is your opinion of these prices???

Hi Tom! I just wanted to drop a note here to say
that I got my restored Bunn back in the mail today,
and it looks and runs great! Your watch repair
service offers a quick turnaround and a fair price.
I'll definitely be back to add one of your Illinois
to my small collection!

MISTAKE! I spoke too soon on my father's pocketwatch parts! It is our intention to maintain the bulk of his stock for the time being, however we may be able to help you out if you're looking for a few specific parts/pieces at a time. I apologize for any inconvenience and meant no misrepresentation whatsoever.

My father was willed an enormous amount of pocket watch parts by his brother, my uncle, who bought out several old jewelers in Michigan and Iowa before his death a few years ago. The variety and number of parts is truly staggering to me (a non-horologist) and at this time we do NOT have a complete listing of all that my father now possesses. It is our intention to catalog and market the entire inventory, making these seemingly unattainable parts and pieces available to all. If you would like more information, send me a message and I will pass along your requests, offers and/or suggestions.

Tom, I am very pleased with the four pocket watches I have purchased from you. They passed the scrutiny of my collector friends with flying colors. They are just as you described!
