HOW TO SET TIME ON A RAILROAD WATCH

Most of the watches we sell are LEVER SET.
If you have purchased one of these, and are unsure how to set time, refer to the above pictures.

TO SET TIME:

  • Unscrew the bezel (part over the dial) or on a hunter, simply push down on crown to open front of case & expose the dial.

  • YOU WILL SEE A LEVER AT 1 (or at 5 on hunting case watches)

  • SLIDE THE LEVER OUT OF THE WATCH using your thumbnail as shown above. It is best to have the watch lying on a flat surface the first time. DO NOT PULL UP ON THE LEVER! This will break the lever off.

  • Using the crown (winder), set the time to your location.
  • Lightly push the lever back in to it's original location.

  • Screw the bezel back on clockwise.

  • THAT'S IT! After you do this once, you will see how easy it is to do again. Call us if there are any questions. PLEASE REFER TO THE ABOVE PHOTOS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO SET YOUR RAILROAD WATCH FOR THE FIRST TIME.
